Our DMCA Policy
This site respects the intellectual property rights of others, including Epic Games, and expects the same from anyone who contributes to or interacts with this site. This DMCA Policy explains how we respond to claims of copyright infringement under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act.
Original Content
Our guides, written explanations, and original graphics are created by our editorial team.
No Hosted Game Files
This site does not host or distribute Fortnite or any copyrighted game files, which limits most copyright concerns from the outset.
Trademark Respect
Fortnite and related assets are used only to identify and describe the game, and remain the property of Epic Games, Inc.
Filing a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you believe content on this site infringes your copyright, you may submit a written notice to our designated contact. To be effective, your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed
- Identification of the material you claim is infringing, including its exact location on this site (a URL is best)
- Your contact information, including name, address, phone number, and email
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner
- Your physical or electronic signature
Our Response Process
Upon receiving a valid takedown notice, we will review it and, where appropriate, remove or disable access to the reported material promptly. We will make reasonable efforts to notify the person responsible for the content, if applicable, that it has been removed.
Counter Notification
If you believe material was removed in error or misidentification, you may submit a counter notification. A valid counter notice must include:
- Identification of the material removed and its location before removal
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the material was removed by mistake or misidentification
- Your name, address, and phone number
- A statement consenting to the jurisdiction of the applicable federal district court
- Your physical or electronic signature
We may restore the material after receiving a valid counter notification, unless the original complainant informs us they have filed a court action.
Repeat Infringers
If this site ever accepts user submitted content, such as comments, we reserve the right to remove content and restrict access for anyone who repeatedly infringes the rights of others.

Note on false claims. Filing a false or bad faith DMCA notice can carry legal consequences under Section 512(f) of the DMCA. Please only submit a notice if you genuinely believe your copyrighted work has been infringed.
Trademark notice. Fortnite, the Fortnite logo, and all related game assets are trademarks or registered trademarks of Epic Games, Inc. This site is an independent resource and claims no ownership over Epic Games’ intellectual property.
Respecting Rights, Ours and Others
We take copyright seriously, both in what we publish and in how we respond to concerns raised by others.
